Antoine Sunier is one of the few vignerons farming organically in Beaujolais, where less than 3% of the vineyards are farmed this way. The younger brother of rising star Julien Sunier, Antoine produced his first vintage in 2014. Before that, he attended viticultural school in Beaune and worked alongside Jean-Paul Lapalu (and, of course, his brother) until he decided to begin making his own wine.
The wines are made with semi carbonic maceration and indigenous yeasts, and aged in neutral barrels with only a small amount of sulfur added when the wine is bottled unfined and unfiltered.
