The Côtes de Provence is known for producing some of the finest rosé wine in the world, and Chateau Leoube - located in the heart of this renowned AOC - is no exception. The estate encompasses 65 hectares of Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, and Mourvedre; ancient olive trees; and untouched natural habitat.
With the help of a well-respected neighbor and investment from new ownership, the Chateau saw a true revitalization in the early 2000's. Organic methods were installed, certification achieved, and now the vineyards are healthier than ever and producing outstanding fruit. The grapes are hand-picked early morning hours and transported to the winery where they are immediately processed to maintain freshness. A slow, delicate press ensures flavors and aromas are optimized. All of this takes places under the watchful eye of none other than Romain Ott, of nearby Domaine Ott. As consultant winemaker, Romain brings his family's years of experience to this pristine estate, marrying the great traditions of Provence with the marvels of modern farming and winemaking.
