Working as a busboy in his hometown on Anna Maria Island in Florida, Seth Cripe cream of becoming a winemaker. When he was 17, he set out for California in pursuit of that dream and began gaining experience in some of Napa Valley's top cellars. While working with the Wagner family, Napa royalty best known for Caymus, Seth worked his way up to Assistant Winemaker and implemented an extremely successful Pinot Noir program. 

The North Coast Cab Franc comes from an assemblage of Cabernet Franc from vineyards located in Lake County, Sonoma, and Napa Valley, a perfect environment for creating fresh wines that mirror the same characteristics of the Loire Valley reds John and Tracey found so compelling in the beginning. The Two Fourteen is a single clone (214) that is soured from the steep hillsides of the Sugarloaf Vineyard in Napa and expresses the spice, minerals, acidity, depth, and complexity of the Loir with a lush and concentrated body that can only come from Napa.

From there, Seth decided to make his own mark creating the next great Pinot Noir. lGuided by a philosophy to make high-quality, honest, and value-oriented wines from California, he began making LOLA. Started in 2008l his first vintage produced a mere 500 cases. Fast forward to today, Seth owns 12 acres in Russian River that will soon bear fruit and a B&B in Calistoga to host thirsty tourists
