Planet Oregon is the brainchild of Tony Soter, an Oregon-born winegrower who is best known for making precious quantities of exquisite (and often expensive) wines of world-class status. This label is his chance to make wines for a broader audience and to make a positive impact on the planet - 100% of the fruit that goes into Planet Oregon is certified sustainably-farmed. 

The winery works with growers that are Organic, Biodynamic, LIVE and Food Alliance certified, all of whom also meet the Salmon Safe  criteria. The wine is bottled in a certified sustainable facility, which is one of just 14 wineries in Oregon (and very few in the world) that can claim to have rigorously documented their carbon use and have reduced, mitigated and offset all carbon accounted for in their onsite production methods. This is all done in accordance with the international standards and the data is posted to The Climate Registry as part of their commitment. Ultimately, Planet Oregon embodies the conscious choice we all have to endorse and support sustainably-produced wines.
