After many years of working in the Oregon wine business, Rob Stuart and his wife, Maria, decided to start their own label. Together with two other partners, the project focuses on creating the winery they had always imagined - one where the quality of wines is consistently high, but the price isn't; where the growers are honored for their hard work; and the customers are always welcomed as friends.
The fruit is sourced from a dozen different vineyards throughout the Willamette Valley, some of which Rob has been working with for more than twenty years. Rob works only with growers who possess a shared value for high quality and sustainable farming.
The wines are made with both every day and special occasions in mind, whether it's Tuesday night takeout or a Saturday night dinner party. Each R. Stuart wine tastes of its place and is a true expression of its terroir. With Rob's signature touch of gentle tannins and the perfect balance of acid and fruit with minimal new oak.
