After college, Jason Charles traveled the world working as a photographer in the US, Mexico and across Europe. While waiting tables in New York City, he caught the wine bug and went to work in the vineyards of Saint Emilion in Bordeaux and the Sonoma Coast. When he returned, he established the Vinca Minor label to explore the intersection between farmer, winemaker and artist.
Jason believes in farming organically, and makes the wines as naturally as possible without sacrificing quality. The wines are always fermented by indigenous yeasts, and are racked only once before being bottled unfined and filtered.
